I'm Mimi von Schack and I'm a comedian, performer and writer in Los Angeles, California. I have a musical theater background, so I'm really good at handling criticism and doing my own stage makeup.

Some of my favorite roles were as Susan in [title of show] and Rizzo in Grease, though my family only seems to remember when I was 12 and played the Cowardly Lion in the Wizard of Oz.

While at the University of St Andrews in Scotland, I sang Top 40 hits as jazzy piano ballads in a comedy cabaret show for three years. I was in the St Andrews Revue, a sketch comedy troupe that went to the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh.

I founded Late Night Pillow Fight, an all-female sketch/improv show benefitting Target Ovarian Cancer UK. I have performed stand up in NYC, LA and London, and I was also a radio host of a comedy show for four years.

My sketches have been featured in the LA Scripted Comedy Festival and the RAW Hollywood Showcase.

My one-woman character comedy cabaret, Julianne: Live from LA! premiered at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in 2016 and won an Encore! Producers Award. I most recently performed a brand new version of the show at the Cavern Club Celebrity Theater at Casita Del Campo.

I am also a voiceover artist creating a series of characters for a comedy app coming to the Apple App store this February! You can contact me through this site for bookings and my vocal reel.

I began at the Groundlings Theater in February 2015 and I'm currently on their performance track, waiting to join the Advanced Writer's Lab and performing in improv shows regularly with my musical improv team, the Ringtones!

I currently produce and host a monthly show, The Variety Hour, at the Open Space on Fairfax!

Occasionally I teach improv and character sketch at Rogue Improv in South Pasadena.
